Kitchen display · KDS

An order the waiter enters reaches the kitchen and bar screens within a second. Colours show how long each order has been waiting; the cook taps “Ready” and the waiter sees it on the expo view.

  • A tablet, a TV or a computer screen is enough
  • Kitchen, bar, desserts — each station on its own screen
  • Works alongside printers too

How it works

From order to service in one flow

The moment an order is saved, items are split by the station that prepares them: the hot kitchen on its screen, the bar on its own. A short tone announces each new order.

When the cook marks an item ready it moves to the service (expo) view; the waiter sees ready items on their tablet too and clears them once served. A wrong tap can be undone.

  • Each card shows how long it has waited; late ones turn red
  • An all-day view with how many portions are still to come
  • Allergen notes on the card
  • Held items reach the kitchen when they are fired

What you get

A screen kitchens actually use

Touch-friendly, large type and simple: readable with greasy hands and in the rush.

A screen per station

Items go to stations such as hot kitchen, cold, bar or desserts; each screen shows only its own work.

Timers and colours

Every order card shows its waiting time; long waits change colour so priorities are obvious.

Audible alert

A short, high tone on every new order — audible over kitchen noise, and it can be muted.

Service (expo) view

Ready items listed table by table; the waiter clears them with one tap when served.

All-day totals

See how many portions of each item are still expected and prep in batches.

Sold out from the kitchen

When an ingredient runs out the cook marks the item sold out; it stops selling at the till, on waiter devices and on the QR menu.

Kitchen display — frequently asked questions

Do I need special hardware?

No. Any tablet, computer or smart TV with a browser works. The screen is mounted in the kitchen and paired to your branch with a code.

Do I have to remove my kitchen printer?

No. Screens and printers can work together — some stations on screen, some on paper.

Can the bar and the kitchen have separate screens?

Yes. Every item belongs to a preparation station; a screen shows only the stations you choose.

How does the waiter know an order is ready?

When the cook taps “Ready” the item moves to the service view; the waiter sees it on their tablet or the expo screen and clears it once served.
