Split payments: four people, four cards, one bill

The cashier grins when the table says "we are splitting it" — the grin fades when four cards come out unless the POS actually knows what split payment means.

Scenario 1: 2,000 TL — 800 cash + 1,200 card

Record cash 800 first, then charge the remaining 1,200 on the card. Both tenders land on the same bill and the end-of-day report knows which pile they belong in. No manual adding.

Scenario 2: four diners, four equal cards

Tap "split" once and the bill divides into equal 1,000 TL chunks (for a 4,000 TL total). Four sequential card charges, one closed bill — every duplicate receipt notes "paid with 4 cards".

Instalments and commission

If you offer instalments, the POS must track which plan hits which commission rate. Otherwise the end-of-day reconciliation will say the bank short-charged you, and tracking why will take hours.
