The printer decides how fast a plate leaves the kitchen. Wrong connection = waiters running back and forth with "the ticket still has not printed".

1) Ethernet (LAN) — most reliable, recommended

Plugs into the switch or router with an RJ-45 cable. All tills on the LAN push tickets directly. Works even if the Internet drops — the most common and least breakable setup.

2) USB + cloud agent — office PC alongside

The printer hangs off a PC via USB. You install a small agent that pulls the ticket queue from the cloud and writes it to USB. No static IP or port forwarding needed.

3) Browser print — fastest to try, not permanent

Great for a quick trial, but it keeps an open browser tab and still asks for a click per ticket. Do not leave this in place long-term.
